The Great Bermuda Carol-Off: Creating a New Holiday Tradition
I developed and launched the Great Bermuda Carol-Off, turning it into a nationally recognized competition with over 800 student participants and record-breaking media engagement.
✔ From a simple performance to a landmark event – It became Bermuda’s largest Christmas competition, reinforcing Skyport’s commitment to culture.
✔ Tangible Impact – Generated over 352.6K social media views and $16,700 in prize money for winning schools, amplifying goodwill and brand loyalty.
The Skyport Magic Mile: Evolving an Iconic Race into an All-Day Experience
For decades, the Skyport Magic Mile was a staple youth event, but families came for the race and left immediately after. I saw an opportunity to extend engagement, creating spaces where families would linger, celebrate, and connect.
✔ Developed the Security Associates Children’s Village – Added entertainment, activities, and food vendors to increase dwell time and create lasting memories.
✔ Shifted audience behavior – Instead of just watching their child’s race and leaving, families now stay for the majority of the event.
